POWER OUTAGE
Though I live in the heart of the city, here is the status:
EVERY SINGLE DAMNED DAY OF THE MONTH:
Power cut for an hour. The hour varies from area to area, one day to another. While in one it might be from 10am to 11 am , in another it might be from 4pm to 5pm.
COUPLE OF TIMES PER WEEK: Power cut for 3 solid hours. Bearable during the day but if it happens at night, you’ll find unhappy, disgruntled and angry people in the morning.
THE ULTIMATE WEAPON OF ...
DOOM..
Among the locals it’s popularly known as MAINTENANCE. Ah...the dreaded word of words... every single soul’s nightmare... Power cut for 9 to 10 hours at a stretch. During the day, manageable. If at night... God save us :( Occurs one day per week, randomly.
The things I get done during this period of no touch with technology are numerous. The list will be dealt with in the next post ^_^

Oh, God. I know! At least we could predict when the current went off before the elections and Chennai was mostly safe from power cuts. It's so much worse now.
Exactly :( Is it just TN or the entire country?
